Welcome to LEND LB! These General Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our investment platform (“Platform”) operated by LEND LB (“we”, “us”, “our”). By registering and using our Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions 

• Investor, Lender : A registered user who invests funds in renewable energy projects through the Platform.
• Project Owner, Developer, Lead : An entity (NGO, SME, or association) presenting renewable energy projects on the Platform for funding.
• Investment, Loan : The funds provided by an Investor to a Project Owner via the Platform.
• Platform : The website and related services operated by LEND LB facilitating investments in renewable energy projects.

2. Eligibility 

By using the Platform, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, hold a bank account in the SEPA area, and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You agree to provide accurate personal information and update it promptly if it changes.

By creating an account and using the services offered by LEND LB, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old,
• You are acting on your own behalf (not on behalf of a third party),
• You hold a bank account located in a SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) country,
• You are not a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Internal Revenue Code (including U.S. citizens, U.S. tax residents, and entities formed under U.S. law), and
• You are not subject to any legal or regulatory restriction in your country of residence that would prohibit you from investing through a crowdlending platform.

LEND LB reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration or investment that does not comply with these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration 

To invest, you must create an account and complete the registration process, including identity verification as required by law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and all activities on your account.

4. Investment process

• Project Information: We provide detailed project information to help you make informed decisions. However, all investments carry risk, including partial or total loss of capital.

• No Financial Advice: The Platform does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. You should consult professionals before investing.

• Investment Execution: Investments are processed after you confirm your payment. Funds collected are transferred to the Project Owner once the funding target is met.

5. Risks 

Investing through the Platform involves risks, including project delays, financial loss, or failure to repay. Past returns do not guarantee future results. You acknowledge these risks and agree to invest at your own discretion.

6. Fees and charges 

We charge a commission fee ("success fee") on the total amount of funds collected only to cover operational costs. Investors do not pay entry or management fees. Payment processing fees may apply depending on your chosen payment method.

7. Platform Responsibilities

We strive to ensure the accuracy of information and smooth operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for damages resulting from use of the Platform or reliance on project information.

8. Payment processing 

All payments made through the LEND LB platform are processed by a third-party licensed payment service provider regulated under EU law. By using our platform, you agree that your payment information will be securely transmitted to and handled by this provider in accordance with their terms and applicable regulations. LEND LB does not store or have access to your full payment details.

9. Intellectual Property 

All content and materials on this Platform are the property of LEND LB or its licensors. The website design and development were created by The Web Addicts and are protected by copyright laws. No part of this site may be reproduced without prior written permission.

10. Data Privacy 

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to this processing.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for any reason, with or without notice.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.

13. Amendments 

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates acceptance.
