Help a municipality switch to clean electricity supplied by solar energy and a lithium-ion battery system.

Like many Lebanese municipalities, it faces daily electricity shortages and high diesel generator costs. Street lights are often off at night, public buildings operate with intermittent power, and fuel bills drain limited budgets.

The Solution

The municipality proposes the installation of a 100 kWp solar photovoltaic system combined with 60 kWh of battery storage to power its public infrastructure — including administrative buildings, a community health center, and essential street lighting.

The project will be built by a local renewable energy contractor, selected through a public call for tenders and pre-approved by LEND LB for technical and financial viability.

How your investment Helps
